Upper Division Assessments 2/20/21

Player assessments for the upper divisions will take place at the Optimist Fields on Saturday, February 20th.

The kids will be grouped by age with 8-year-olds starting things off and the 13-year-olds will close the day. You must be registered for the Spring 2021 season to participate and you'll need to sign up for a specific time slot (check your email for a sign up link).

8- and 9-year-olds will be evaluated solely for the AAA draft. Any 8-year-olds not selected by a AAA team will enter the AA pool.

All 10/11/12 players and 11/12/13 players will be eligible for the Majors and Intermediate drafts, respectively, regardless of the division they signed up for. Every 13-year-old is assured a spot with an Intermediate team, and every 11-and 12-year-old is at least guaranteed Majors placement. 10-year-olds who are not selected in the Majors draft will be entered into the AAA pool.

Participation in assessments is REQUIRED for post season all-star consideration. If your player is unable to make it on Saturday, there will be a make-up opportunity on Monday, February 22nd.
