AA Player Assessments

The AA player assessments will be happening this Saturday, February 5th from 9:00am - 1:15pm at the Optimist Fields. 

All registered families have been emailed a link to the sign up page to choose a time slot. If you've registered, but haven't received this, please send an email to [email protected] to request it.

There will not be a make-up date. If you have extenuating circumstances and are unable to make it on Saturday, your child will still be placed on a team but we will need more information from you and a former coach. 

Players will be placed into groups of 5 and will be assessed on their ability to field balls hit to the outfield (base hits, not fly balls), field ground balls, throwing strength, throwing accuracy, hitting, and base running. It will take about 15 minutes to assess each group. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your assessment time to check in, which will also give your child a chance to warm up and acclimate.

If you have not yet had your child's age and residency eligibility verified with us, you can bring the paperwork on Saturday. We will need to see an original birth certificate along with required residency documents which are specifically outlined here. Please read the residency instructions carefully so that you only need to make one trip to the fields.
